Is this the case with others? and, is it safe to use conditioners or would that cause more damage?

I have no idea whether conditioners do your hair any good, but if I didn't use any I wouldn't be able to get my wiry barnet through an average door!

My little girl suffers with the Dry Hair issue and my mum (the saviour that she is) found this conditioner (leave in) called Vitapoint. It is fantastic and tames a what used to be a unruly mop into this sleek, soft, fantastic hairdo. You can get in Boots. I highly recommend it!!!!!

Very Happy

I have tried every marketed frizz reducing product known to man, this was before I knew I had ED. It transpires that I could have saved myself a fortune, as none of it ever worked that well because my hair is just twisted, and that's the way it is!! Happy now I know I can just leave it alone, and stop trying to make it "normal" Laughing My daughter has beautiful hair, so I play with hers instead!

I'm reduced to shaving mine off now. However, my facial hair grows at a humongous rate!!

I now plat my hair and put mouse over the rest to keep it from turning into a wild fluff ball!

Well hello you! Vitapoint has been around for years - my Mum used to coat me in it too! Mind you that was after she's applied setting lotion, curlers and a quick blast from the hair dryer!!!!!! I kid you not!! it's no wonder its going thin on top!! She fried me!!Of course to be fair she didn't know anything about ED then and didn't know that my hair should have been treated with respect to avoid it falling out. And that also applies to me - when I got to 15 my hair went every colour of the rainbow - in fact when I met Andrew at the age of 20 my hair was Flamingo Pink and crimped!!!! I swear I am not making this up!! Of course if we knew then what we know now.....................I wouldn't change a thing! lol!

Can you buy this stuff in the US? We have to keep shane's hair in a flattop and if it gets too long it looks wild. It is like straw. I would totally love to try that stuff.

I've started buying lots of stuff on the internet - online drug stores, pharmacies etc
I'm sure you can get viapoint or similar on line. I'm even getting eye drops from new dehli - no joke - but they work and are cheaper than perscription charges in uk!
But I'm not endorsing my behaviour at all! Wink
