Just a Hello

Just saying hello.

I found the forum while researching why my sons are missing 8 and 11 permanent teeth. (They are 10 and 11 years old) I live in a small town (population 2400) and intend to take them to the local doctor to see what he says. My sons both have ridged nails, as do I. So, at this point, it is all speculation if there is anything to be concerned about other than getting a tooth implant(s) for my son that is missing 11 teeth.

But it is nice to know there is a place to go if it is more than that.

I think implants for children that age will be way out of the question. I'm 23 and have only just started having appointments regarding premanent implants. This is because my jaw will have just stopped growing. Do they wear dentures? I have worn them since I was five years old, and very comfortably.

I'd like to know more.
